Lazaros V. Kali is a multidisciplinary artist, filmmaker, producer, writer, and independent researcher based in the Greater Montréal region. Working across film, music, digital media, and visual arts, his practice explores the relationship between technology, memory, identity, and contemporary culture.

He is the founder of Neo Andromeda Productions, an independent production company and record label dedicated to developing original film, music, and multimedia projects. Through Neo Andromeda, Lazaros develops and produces narrative and visually distinctive films, working with emerging filmmakers to bring bold, original stories to the screen. His producing credits include KING (dir. Morgan Henry, 2026) and What You Deserve (dir. Hana Goodfellow, 2026), where he served as producer and executive producer.

Alongside his work in film and music, Lazaros maintains an active artistic practice that spans visual arts, photography, writing, and digital media. His work frequently investigates themes of internet culture, technological change, nostalgia, and the evolving relationship between human creativity and digital systems. Interested in the preservation of online culture, he is the creator and host of Archive The Void, an independent platform dedicated to documenting web history, digital ephemera, forgotten online communities, and the cultural evolution of the internet.

His academic work complements his creative practice. Holding a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Concordia University and currently completing a Master of Arts in Educational Technologies, his research examines how algorithmically mediated environments influence trust, identity, and the production of knowledge. These ideas continue to inform his artistic practice, shaping projects that explore the cultural and social implications of emerging technologies without losing sight of the importance of human expression, interpretation, and lived experience.
