Lazaros V. Kali is a multidisciplinary artist, filmmaker, independent researcher, entrepreneur, and consultant based in the Greater Montréal region. His career spans film, music, visual and digital media, education, emerging technology, and consulting, often bringing together fields that would otherwise have little reason to overlap.

He is the founder of Neo Andromeda Productions, an independent production company and record label through which he develops film, music, and multimedia projects. His producing credits include KING (dir. Morgan Henry, 2026), which was selected for the 2026 Fantasia International Film Festival in Montréal, and What You Deserve (dir. Hana Goodfellow, 2026). Through Neo Andromeda, he works with emerging filmmakers to develop original projects and bring independent stories to the screen.

Outside of film, Lazaros maintains a practice in music, visual art, and digital media. Much of his creative work draws from internet culture, technological change, nostalgia, memory, and identity. This interest also led to Archive The Void, a multi-platform archival and media project documenting the early internet through found material, archived footage, video essays, podcasts, and research into online culture and its history.

His academic and professional work follows many of the same interests from a different perspective. Lazaros holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Concordia University and is completing a Master of Arts in Educational Technology, where his research examines algorithmically mediated environments and their effects on identity, motivation, intellectual engagement, and people's relationship with information. His research has increasingly brought his attention toward artificial intelligence and the ethical and social questions surrounding algorithmic systems.

Alongside his creative and academic work, Lazaros works as a consultant with professionals and organizations navigating the growing role of artificial intelligence in their industries. His consulting has touched finance, media, education, technology, and entrepreneurship, with work involving AI adoption and strategy, ethics and compliance, digital transformation, and the practical implications of introducing emerging technologies into existing organizations.

Rather than treating these as separate careers, Lazaros' work has developed around the overlap between them. His background as an artist, filmmaker, educator, researcher, entrepreneur, and consultant has allowed him to approach technology from both creative and practical perspectives, particularly when working with people and organizations outside traditional technology fields.

Across film, music, research, and consulting, a common interest remains: understanding how new technologies change the way people create, communicate, work, and understand the world around them, and how those technologies can be used without losing sight of the people and cultures they ultimately affect.
